Domkirkeodden 28.04.2024
What a joy it was to play for a wonderful audience yesterday at the cathedral ruins of Hamar. The weather was a bit chilly, but it was still a wonderful opportunity to perform. And thus I did so!
This year I decided to do life differently. I want to live it delusionally confident, my purpose is not something for the future, I’m holding and kneading and shaping it with my whole being right now. It’s easy to forget sometimes, cause I do like to dwell on what has passed, what is and what has not even yet been confirmed to exist. But if I want to get somewhere, I need to make it happen.
I have played at the ruins before, always in connection to another event and I’m grateful for the opportunity and trust the museum has had to provide a space for me. It was also a really good feeling to give back to them as well, as that’s what I do with my music. I just want to give and let it do what it needs to do.
So, aside from bringing some melodies to life in both old and new ways, it was so lovely to see known and new faces and I truly hope many feel like they wish to return at warmer times. I truly realise yesterday that my blessings are truly my blessings alone and they’re even more powerful when shared.
Thank you, Domkirkeodden, thank you Magnus and friend, thank you Fredrik, thank you family, friends and dear visitors. I look forward to next time!
With love,
Lene
